Below are some simple tips you can incorporate into your emails to ensure your event marketing efforts get the best results through Greenvelope.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><b>Subject Line<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Avoid using all-caps text:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While there are some brands who have had success using all caps subject lines on a regular basis (Hello, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thereformation.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">REFORMATION<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) it is best to avoid if you\u2019re worried about hitting inboxes. The word \u201cSale\u201d in an inbox is more effective than \u201cSALE\u201d in a spam filter. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Avoid using symbols:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This relates to even basic symbols. Replace \u201c&amp;\u201d with \u201cand\u201d for increased deliverability, and as always, avoid exclamation points (!!!).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Be concise and specific:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Many devices will cut off subject lines at 5 words or less, depending on character count and text size. This can be especially useful for including the names of each, individual recipient. Your readers will see the customization in the teaser text and be more inclined to open the message. For example, to add first name personalization to your email message, you would use the ##firstname## mail merge tag.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Include Pre-header Text<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Pre-header text, otherwise known as teaser text, is the short summary of text that follows the subject line in an inbox.
